About the Book

The first in a series of travel books for curious kids – The Booster Seat Guide is a travel guide designed and written for the booster seat set – children aged four to nine. Full of pictures and maps, suggestions of what to see and do, activities to keep busy during the journey and make it all the more memorable.

About the Authors

The Booster Seat Guide to the Shuswap is co-authored by elementary school teacher Catherine Sartain and designer Louise Wallace of Salmon Arm. The book is dedicated to their kids whose arrivals and adventures continue to be the greatest journey of their lives. The two have been life long friends and travelling companions to many a destination. With kids in tow now, a travel guide for the juniors seemed an obvious project for the pair. The result is the first ever children's travel book for this popular tourist destination.
